Initial Consult

I am happy to offer a free half-hour phone consult to start. If it seems I am a good fit for the project we will follow up with a 1-hour paid consult on site. We can walk your property together, brainstorm ideas, look at any existing plans you may have, and go over the design process in detail.

I am currently taking on projects in the East Bay only.

Retainer

For most jobs I collect a $1000 retainer to begin (sometimes less, sometimes more depending on the scope of your project.) The retainer helps cover my hours, materials, and printing costs along the way and is returned or credited back at the last invoice.

My Commitment

My job is to help guide you through the architectural process from beginning to end. I pride myself on being practical, creative, communicative, and timely. I have a strong network of contractors and consultants (including engineers, surveyors, interior designers, and arborists to name a few) that I will connect you with to ensure your project is on time and of high quality. I’m also happy to meet new people and I welcome the opportunity to work with unfamiliar contractors my clients bring to the table. Even after the permit is issued I will be involved throughout construction to ensure that questions are answered and the drawings are properly implemented.
